About IRPF Fácil
Where the information comes from
All content comes exclusively from the Manual práctico de Renta 2025. Parte 1. — AEAT, available at sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es. No external content is added or interpreted.
How often it is updated
The content is updated at the start of each filing season, when the AEAT publishes the new Practical Manual. If the content is outdated, the app will show a stale content warning at the top.
How it works
You type your question and the app finds the most relevant sections of the AEAT Income Tax Manual using hybrid retrieval (semantic + keyword). A language model produces a summary based solely on those cited sections.
Editorial methodology
The only valid source for our figures, dates, return-form boxes, IRPF brackets and regulations is the Practical Tax Return Manual published by the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT). We consult its official PDFs and, where needed, Law 35/2006 on Personal Income Tax and its Regulation (Royal Decree 439/2007).
Artificial intelligence: never a source. We use AI exclusively to speed up semantic search inside the Manual and to help write clearer explanations from the official text. We never take figures, dates or return-form boxes from a model's training knowledge.
Five languages, one source per language. IRPF Fácil is available in Spanish, Catalan, Galician, Valencian and English. Each version is generated from the AEAT's official PDF in that language — not machine-translated from Spanish.
Before publishing or updating an article we always follow these steps:
- Locate the figure, date or return-form box in the AEAT's official PDF and store the exact page or section as a reference.
- Compare all five language versions to confirm there is no divergence between them.
- Cross-check the data against Law 35/2006 and its Regulation where applicable.
- Flag sensitive data (regional figures, personal minimums, tax brackets) with automated tests that detect accidental changes.
Corrections history
If we publish an incorrect figure, we fix it as soon as we detect it and log it here so any reader can check what changed and when.
Any material correction to a figure, date, return-form box or legal reference is published on this page within 72 hours of detection, regardless of the source of the correction (reader, internal review, official update).
No material corrections have been logged so far.
If you believe you have found an error in a figure, date or return-form box, please write to us from the contact page and we will review it as quickly as possible.
Privacy
The app requires no sign-up and does not link questions to any user. Queries are stored in a temporary cache (up to 1 hour) to speed up repeat answers. To produce the summary, the question is sent to the configured language model provider, under their privacy terms.
